Education Financing-i
Education Financing-i is a Shariah-compliant financing facility that offers financial assistance to qualified students for pursuing their studies in the selected local and private Education Institutions under the Bank's empanelment.

Eligibility Criteria
Malaysian citizens.
Main Applicant (Student):
- Non-working student - age is between 18 - 30 years old.
- Working student - age is between 18 - 50 years old.
Joint Applicant(s):
- Age is between 21 - 55 years old.
- Up to a maximum of two (2) joint applicants
Note: For working student, the application will be accepted, with or without joint applicants. Working student must be under employment or running their own business
Coursework Programme
Open to all Foundation, Certificate, Pre-University (eg: A Level), Diploma, Degree, Postgraduate (Master’s Degrees & Doctorates) and Professional Courses.
The Coursework Programme must be from education institutions under the Bank's empanelment.
Financing Amount (without collateral)
Minimum: RM10,000
Maximum: RM250,000
Tenure (inclusive Study Period)
Minimum: 5 years
Maximum: 20 years OR up to the customers’ age of 60 years old (at the point of financing expiry), whichever is earlier.
Note: Study Period is capped up to the maximum of 5 years or as per stated in the Student’s Letter of Offer, whichever is earlier.
Margin of Financing
Up to 90% of the Coursework Programme fee (up to an additional 5% incidental financing).
Profit Rate
- Profit is calculated based on Variable Rate.
- Protection with a Ceiling Profit Rate capped at 11% p.a.

About the YTL Cement Scholarship
The YTL Cement Scholarship offers students pursuing studies in local institutes of higher learning the opportunity to explore their potential and shape their future in the field of engineering.
The scholarship is offered through YTL Cement’s CSR arm, BUILDS, and extends our commitment in capacity building by nurturing future talents to support the advancement of the Malaysian construction industry.
Eligibility
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtained minimum 7As in SPM
- Minimum CGPA 3.50 in STPM, Matriculation, Foundation, A-Level, Diploma or equivalent
- Having a record of active participation in extracurricular activities is an added advantage
- Have obtained admission into a local university for a full-time degree course
- Those currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 are welcomed to apply
- Willing to work for YTL Cement for a certain duration upon graduation
- Should not have received any other form of scholarship

Genting Malaysia Scholarship Award (GENM Scholarship)
About Genting Malaysia Award
The Genting Malaysia Scholarship Award (GENM Scholarship) provides qualified young Malaysians with the golden opportunity to further their studies locally or overseas. We offer financial assistance for students who have excelled academically and demonstrated active leadership to undergo their undergraduate studies.
Eligibility
- Malaysian citizen aged 23 years and below.
- Must be waiting for admission to pursue a full-time degree course in a local or overseas university.
- Must possess the requisite pre-university qualification:
- STPM: minimum 3 As, OR
- Matriculation/Diploma: CGPA 3.0 or above, OR
- A-Level: minimum 3 As, OR
- Australian TER: minimum 90.0, OR
- Recognized foundation/Diploma courses: equivalent to CGPA 3.0 or above, OR
- International Baccalaureate: minimum 36.0
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated through active participation in extra-curricular activities.
- Family household income not exceeding RM5,000.00 per month.
- Not presently holding other scholarships or study loans.
