This is the first New Zealand foundation qualification in the country geared towards providing a pathway to chartered accountancy in New Zealand, and is recognized at international level. As compared to taking the full degree programme overseas, the programme is a viable option to cut costs. Students can undertake the first two years of the programme locally in Malaysia, and complete the remaining years in New Zealand.

The syllabi for the core subjects in Foundation in Commerce mirror those offered at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. All examination papers are set and moderated by experienced academics from the university, hence confirming quality assurance both in terms of academic rigour and consistency at a global university standard.
