Foundation in Science (N/0011/3/0088)

(MQA/PA 17049)
This is the second New Zealand foundation qualification in the country geared towards providing a pathway to a science programme in New Zealand and is recognised at the international level. As compared to taking the full degree programme overseas, the programme is a viable option to cut costs. Students can undertake the first two years of the programme locally in Malaysia and complete the remaining years in New Zealand, or complete all years of degree study in New Zealand.
Students are exposed to an engagingly diverse environment of global teaching and learning, assimilated into the courses suitably designed for the programmes offered. Furthermore, our revered academicians are experts in their field of study and industry; hence, they are highly capable of guiding students in expectations, especially to navigate their career and working environment once they complete their tertiary education.
The syllabi for the core subjects in Foundation in Science mirror those offered at all eight public universities in New Zealand. All examination papers are set and moderated by experienced academics from the university, hence confirming quality assurance both in terms of academic rigour and consistency at a global university standard.
